The Composite Mat  is produced by cutting glass fiber yarn into a specific length without directional sedimentation and then sewing it with polyester sewing thread. It can be combined with non-woven fabrics and carbon fiber surface felt. This product features uniform thickness, high permeability, excellent tensile strength, good dimensional stability that resists displacement and deformation, good moldability and draping properties, ease of operation, as well as excellent rolling characteristics and effective reinforcement. It can be effectively combined with unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl resin, and epoxy resin.

Application Fields:
Glass fiber sewing felt is widely used in FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) molding processes, such as pultrusion molding, resin transfer molding (RTM), winding molding, and hand lay-up molding. It is particularly suitable for manufacturing products like pultrusion profiled pipes, storage tanks, and wind turbine blades. Due to its superior chemical stability, electrical insulation properties, and strength, it can also be used as electrical insulation materials, industrial filter materials, corrosion-resistant, moisture-proof, thermal insulation, sound insulation, shock absorption materials, and other applications.

Technical Parameters

Packaging: The product is wound on a paper tube with an inner diameter of 76mm. Various widths can be produced according to customer needs. After winding, it is covered with a polyethylene plastic bag. Wooden frame or pallet can be selected according to customer needs.

Storage: The product should be stored in a cool and moisture-proof place. It is recommended that the room temperature and humidity should be maintained between 15°C to 35°C and 35% to 65% all the time. Please keep the product in its original packaging before use to avoid moisture absorption.
