The Stitch Woven Roving Combo Mat is a specialized composite reinforcement base material that combines the advantages of woven roving and chopped strand fibers, bonded together with polyester yarn.  This product features uniform thickness, high infiltration rate, excellent tensile strength, good isotropy, and excellent dimensional stability, making it resistant to displacement and deformation. It is suitable for machine production processes.

  1. Composition:

    • It consists of a layer of woven roving and a layer of uniformly randomly distributed chopped strand fibers.

    • Polyester yarn is used for stitching, ensuring a tight bond between the materials.

  2. Product Features:

    • Multi-directional reinforcement: The combination of woven roving and chopped strand fibers provides multi-directional reinforcement, offering uniform and strong support.

    • Fast resin impregnation: The composite mat has fast resin impregnation, which improves production efficiency and reduces the formation of bubbles.

    • Excellent film-forming properties: The resin can evenly cover the surface of the composite mat, forming a strong and smooth film.

    • High mechanical strength: The stitched woven roving and chopped strand fibers provide outstanding mechanical strength, suitable for various demanding applications.

    • High wet strength retention: Even in wet environments, the composite mat maintains high strength, demonstrating its excellent wet resistance.

  3. Applications:

    • Mainly used in hand lay-up, pultrusion, RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), and other fiberglass molding processes.

    • Widely applied in industries such as shipping, transportation, entertainment, construction, and anti-corrosion, for products like fiberglass boat hulls, plates, automotive shells, refrigeration appliances, pultruded profiles, and more.

Packaging: The product is wound on a paper tube with an inner diameter of 76mm. Various widths can be produced according to customer needs. After winding, it is covered with a polyethylene plastic bag. Wooden frame or pallet can be selected according to customer needs.

Storage: The product should be stored in a cool and moisture-proof place. It is recommended that the room temperature and humidity should be maintained between 15°C to 35°C and 35% to 65% all the time. Please keep the product in its original packaging before use to avoid moisture absorption.
