Products Description



Chopped Strand Mat is made of continuous glass fiber strands that are randomly chopped and distributed in a non-directional manner, and then bonded together using powder or emulsion binders. It is suitable for unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, and epoxy resin, among others. It features fast resin impregnation, good film-forming properties, easy elimination of bubbles, high mechanical strength of products, and high retention rate of wet strength. It is widely used in FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) molding processes such as hand lay-up, compression molding, and filament winding, meeting the production requirements for various products including plates, boats, cooling towers, anti-corrosion pipelines, car roofs, automotive parts, and bathroom fixtures.

Packaging: The product is wound on a paper tube with an inner diameter of 76mm. Various widths can be produced according to customer needs. After winding, it is covered with a polyethylene plastic bag. Wooden frame or pallet can be selected according to customer needs.

Storage: The product should be stored in a cool and moisture-proof place. It is recommended that the room temperature and humidity should be maintained between 15°C to 35°C and 35% to 65% all the time. Please keep the product in its original packaging before use to avoid moisture absorption.
